Toyota Avalon to be Discontinued for 2023
Toyota has announced that it will discontinue the Avalon sedan and replace it with the 2023 Crown, a high-riding luxury sedan. The Crown will be based on the company's upcoming TNGA-C platform. It will be available with various gasoline and hybrid powertrains. The Crown is aimed squarely at the German luxury sedans, and Toyota hopes its combination of luxury and value will appeal to buyers. The car is expected to be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show.
