The popular 2016 Toyota RAV4 features an updated look for the new model year. It's sleeker than past models, sports a flowing profile, dons a bold front fascia, and is available with LED headlights, Hi-Lo Headlights and daytime running lamps. Additionally, the new RAV4 lineup introduces an SE trim and the RAV4 Hybrid, which caters to buyers who want to take advantage of first-class fuel efficiency. Coming into the new model year, the 2016 Toyota RAV4 in Evansville is refreshed and ready for action. An all-new SE model has joined the roster for 2016, offering sporty performance and equipped with exceptional features, such as a sport-tuned suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels, a six-speed automatic transmission, paddle shifters, LED headlights/taillights, a lower grille and the S-Code paint design. A hybrid model has also been introduced this year and delivers great EPA ratings: 33 mpg combined, 34 city and 31 highway. Additionally, Toyota Safety Sense is available across the lineup, featuring Pre-Collison System, Lane Departure Alert, Automatic High Beams and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, to name a few.
Delivering 176 horsepower and 172 lb.-ft. of torque, a 2.5L direct-injection four-cylinder engine is outfitted on the 2016 Toyota RAV4 in Evansville. Standard with a six-speed transmission, the model is able to produce optimal performance and fantastic EPA ratings for its class. The RAV4 Hybrid aims to deliver even more fuel efficiency than the standard RAV4 and does so with some help from Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive, a 2.5L Atkinson cycle four-cylinder, two motors, and a hybrid battery pack, which combine to churn out 194 horsepower. It can also go from zero to 60 mph in 8.1 seconds, which is fairly quicker than the gas versions.
