The ever-popular Toyota Avalon has some changes in store for 2022 to give it a fresh look. The Avalon is a full-size sedan, and it is one of the largest sedans that you can purchase. 2022 Avalon Trims & Features

The first Avalon trim level that you can get is the XLE. The XLE is loaded with conveniences, even though it is an entry-level model. Front-wheel drive is standard with the Avalon, and it also has 17-inch alloy wheels at the base level. The Touring trim follows with more amenities. You can get navigation with the infotainment system, starting with the second trim, which also has LED headlights that have smoky chrome accents for a dramatic effect. The LED lights also have an automatic on-off function. The top trim in the line is called the Limited. The Limited upgrades to leather upholstery for its seats. A JBL sound system with 14 speakers is standard as well. The Limited also switches to larger 18-inch wheels with a dazzling chrome finish.

2022 Toyota Avalon Horsepower

Several engines are available with the Toyota Avalon. The 2022 Avalon has standard front-wheel drive across the trim lineup. The base engine under the Avalon's hood is a 3.5L V6. The minimum power output from the base engine is 301 HP, and the most torque that the base engine creates is 267 LB-FT. An eight-speed transmission is standard. The Touring trim has its own more powerful engine. Driving the Touring is a 2.5L engine with four cylinders. This engine can produce 205 HP in top power, and its maximum torque is 185 LB-FT. A hybrid powertrain is also available if you choose the Toyota Avalon Hybrid.
