What's New For the 2021 Toyota Tundra?

For the 2021 model year, Toyota introduces a new appearance package, Nightshade, for the Tundra. Only available on one trim level, it includes black leather upholstery, black accents on the exterior, and black 20-inch wheels. Another package, a limited-production Trail Edition package will debut in 2021. It includes special 18-inch wheels and unique badging on the outside and on the inside, the truck's all-black interior with tan contrast stitching gives it a special look.

Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?

Toyota Tundra comes in six trims: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, and TRD Pro. Two appearance packages, Trail Edition and Nightshade Special Edition are only available on the SR5 and Limited trims respectively.

In the base SR trim, there are many features to enjoy such as a seven-inch infotainment display screen that comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You also get a six-speaker sound system. The next trim, SR5 gets a few variations to its amenities. The SR5 upgrades to an eight-inch infotainment display screen. Fog lights are included on this trim level. You can get several upgrades for the SR5, too, including front bucket seats and a larger fuel tank.

The Limited trim adds more luxury and amenities, such as 20-inch wheels, the grille has a polished appearance with a silver chrome lining. Inside, you'll find comfortable leather seats, dual-zone climate control, and heated seats in the front. You can add on an off-road package as well. The Platinum adds navigation, a premium sound system, climate-controlled seats, and a blacked-out grille, while the TRD Pro has sporty enhancements for your off-road adventures.

What's Under the Hood of the Tundra?

The 5.7L V8 powers all Tundras. It delivers a robust 381 HP and 401 LB-FT of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The rear wheels drive the Tundra unless you opt to get four-wheel drive.
