What's New For the 2021 Toyota Sienna?
If you're looking for a quality minivan this year, the Toyota Sienna is hard to beat. The 2021 Sienna redefines the meaning of 'minivan' with its bold new look, innovative performance, enhanced technology, and top-of-the-line safety features. The Sienna gets a refreshed appearance in 2021 for a contemporary look that resembles an SUV more than a minivan. Bright and stylish headlights are another notable feature of the 2021 Sienna. A wealth of technology awaits in the cabin, and you can get a hybrid powertrain for the first time. This year's Sienna launches the fourth generation.
Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?
From the LE to the Platinum, there are five exciting trims in the 2021 Toyota Sienna series. With the LE, which starts off the lineup, you will have LED headlights as a standard amenity on the exterior. The interior is rigged for convenience and safety, with power-sliding doors on the side and automatic climate control in all three rows. The second row gets sunshades as well. There are seven USB charging ports. The infotainment screen, new this year, is a nine-inch display with smartphone integration, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
The second trim, called the XLE, brings another zone of climate control for optimal comfort. It gets a sunroof and heated seats, and it adds some upscale touches, including a leather-encased steering wheel. Wireless charging is available. The XSE has a sporty outer shell. It adds wireless charging and a JBL sound system. Leather seats are standard on the Limited trim. You have the choice of getting captain's chairs in the second row with this trim instead of a bench-style seat. The Platinum adds more safety technology, heated seats in the first two rows, and a heated steering wheel.

A Perfect Blend of Power and Fuel Efficiency
This year, Toyota uses the same hybrid technology found in the RAV4 to power the Sienna. The Sienna's previous V6 gasoline engine has been replaced with hybrid technology. Now the minivan gets a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a 2.5L displacement. It adds an electric motor to reach 245 HP. Fuel economy is improved with this year's Sienna, getting a combined 36 MPG.
Packed With Safety Features
The Sienna gets Toyota's suite of the latest driver-assist safety tools. Forward collision mitigation is standard, and all trims have a lane-departure alert with an evasive steering assist. A blind-spot monitor system is included, and all trims have adaptive cruise control. The Platinum receives a 360-degree camera as well.
