2021 Toyota Avalon

What's New for the 2021 Toyota Avalon?

The Toyota Avalon has always been a top-ranking sedan, but the Avalon is at its best yet in 2021. The Toyota Avalon is now more performance-oriented, with the option to get all-wheel drive for select trim levels. The Toyota Avalon also adds more standard technology, namely Android Auto, which is now included as part of the base infotainment package, and Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay. The 2021 Toyota Avalon Hybrid, which has a different mechanical configuration, upgrades its battery in 2021, and it also adds Android Auto as part of its base tech package.

2021 Avalon Trims & Features

The 2021 Toyota Avalon offers seven total trims, including five with the standard Avalon and three with the Avalon Hybrid. The regular and hybrid Avalon share the first three trims, and two more are added to the Avalon lineup. Both begin with the XLE, which has a stylish exterior finished with alloy wheels and heated mirrors. Both also have a well-equipped cabin with a nine-inch display and a trio of Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. The seats are soft and comfortable with a simulated leather finish, and they are heated for convenience. The XSE builds on that list with unique exterior styling, including black wheels, black trim accents, and a black rear spoiler.

More luxury comes with the Limited trim, a 14-speaker sound system, larger 18-inch chrome wheels, a head-up display, and navigation. The cabin also has a more elegant look with leather seats, wood trim accents in the cabin, and ambient interior lighting. The Touring trim on the regular Toyota Avalon gets a sporty exhaust, custom wheels, and leather seats with microsuede inserts. With the TRD trim, you'll get an aerodynamic body kit, a black roof, a sport-tuned suspension, and red seat belts.
