What's New For The 2020 Toyota Tundra?

When it comes to the 2020 Toyota Tundra, the biggest news is underneath the hood. Rather than the V6 engine that was standard last year, a 5.7L V8 becomes the norm. The SR5 trim level also sees some new features. Available on this trim in 2020 is front bucket seats, leather surfaces, push-button start, and a power-adjustable driver's seat. Most trims also now have the option of adding Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to make connecting your truck to your smartphone easier than ever.

What are the 2020 Toyota Tundra Trims & Features?

In total, there are six different trim levels available for the 2020 Toyota Tundra. They go by the SR, SR5, Limited, TRD Pro, Platinum, and 1794 Edition. Like with most trucks, there are many different variations within the trims. There are both 2x4 and 4x4 models, as well as different bed lengths. The Tundra is also available with different cab sizes.

Coming standard in the Tundra is a six-speaker audio system that features a 7" touchscreen and Bluetooth capability. There is a USB media port as well as two USB charging ports. Upper trims offer a larger 8" touchscreen as well as more speakers. There is also a version of this system that includes Dynamic Navigation to help get you where you need to be.

The Tundra can tow between 8,800 and 10,200 pounds, depending on the model.

Coming standard is also the Star Safety System, which includes Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, an Anti-lock Brake System, and more. A Tire Pressure Monitor System is standard on all models as well. Additional packages can be added to give your Tundra Front and Rear Park Assist as well as a Blind Spot Monitor including Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
