2018 Toyota Tundra Trims & Configurations

The Tundra is available in a number of combinations, giving you even more control over your truck's features and capabilities. Buyers can choose from two body styles (Double Cab or CrewMax) and three bed lengths (Short, Standard and Long).

Trim selection will differ slightly based on the configuration, but the default Tundra is offered in a total of five grades: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum and 1794 Edition. There are also several packages available, including the popular TRD Off-Road and new TRD Sport.

Standard features on the Tundra SR include everything from heated mirrors, a damped tailgate and a windshield wiper de-icer to a six-speaker sound system, Bluetooth and a 6.1-inch Entune touchscreen. Moving up to the popular SR5 trim adds foglights, a larger touchscreen, HD radio and navigation app, while higher trims offer amenities like alloy wheels, movable tie-down cleats, leather upholstery, heated/ventilated front seats and a 12-speaker JBL sound system.

Whether you want more tech or additional performance capabilities, you're sure to find it in this lineup! Contact us today to find out what else is offered on the 2018 Tundra near me.

2018 Toyota Tundra Engines

All models of the 2018 Tundra in Evansville come with a V8 engine, a six-speed automatic transmission, and your choice of RWD or 4WD.
Need mild to moderate hauling capability? You're sure to be satisfied with the Tundra's standard 4.6-liter V8 engine. Rated at 310 horsepower and 327 lb-ft of torque, this truck has an impressive maximum payload capacity of 1,600 pounds. It can also trailer up to 6,800 pounds when properly equipped.

For those planning on really putting their pickup to work, 2018 Tundra reviews recommend upgrading to the 5.7-liter V8. Output climbs to an impressive 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque, and drivers can carry around up to 1,730 pounds, depending on the configuration. Toyota's Tow Package is included with the 5.7-liter V8, helping the truck to safely and efficiently tow a maximum of 10,500 pounds. A tow hitch receiver, an integrated trailer brake controller, a heavy duty battery, an engine oil cooler and a transmission cooler are all included in the package.

2018 Toyota Tundra Safety Features

We're not exaggerating when we say this pickup truck offers some of the most advanced safety systems in its class! As you'll read in many 2018 Tundra reviews, Toyota Safety Sense is now standard across the lineup. This means lane departure warning, dynamic cruise control, adaptive high beams and a collision mitigation system with automatic braking and pedestrian detection are added to every model at no extra cost.

In addition to these high-tech features, the Tundra comes with antilock brakes, brake assist, eight airbags, stability and traction control, a backup camera and trailer sway control. Front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert are available on select models.
