Redesigned V6 Engine

A 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed automatic come standard on the Highlander LE. All other models, including the Highlander Hybrid, are equipped with a new version of the 3.5-liter Direct Injection V6. 2017 Toyota Highlander reviews are excited for the updated V6, which now features stop-start technology to preserve fuel, and is paired to an advanced eight-speed automatic. Like last year, the Highlander will be available in both FWD and Dynamic Torque- Control AWD, and has a towing capacity of up to 5,000 lbs. on V6 models.

Active Safety is Now Standard

The 2017 Toyota Highlander in Evansville is designed with the Toyota Safety Sense P, which packages together automatic high beams, dynamic cruise control, lane departure alert, and a pre-collision system with automatic braking and collision warning. The Highlander can also detect objects ahead of the vehicle and will brake accordingly. Starting on the XLE trim, the Highlander will feature a blind spot monitor. The top-tier Limited Platinum adds an innovative Bird's Eye View Camera with Perimeter Scan, which utilizes a multi-camera system to give drivers a 360-degree view of the vehicle.
