If you're looking for a family-hauler that can transport up to eight passengers, the 2016 Toyota Sienna is the right vehicle for you. It's both spacious and versatile, offering all-wheel drive and equipped with a standard towing package supporting 3,500 pounds. For the new model year, the minivan features all-new upgraded Entune multimedia systems and the Sienna Outdoor Package, which originally debuted on the 2015 model. Generating 266 horsepower and 245 lb.-ft. of torque, a 3.5L V6 engine is outfitted on all versions of the 2016 Toyota Sienna in Evansville. The powerplant is matched with a six-speed automatic transmission and delivers optimal performance. Front-wheel drive models outfitted with the engine produce an EPA-estimated 21 mpg combined, 18 city and 25 highway, while all-wheel drive variants produce 19 mpg combined, 16 city and 23 highway. In testing, the front-wheel drive Limited was able to go from zero to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds, proving the Sienna is also one of the quickest models in its class.
The Sienna Outdoor Package, which joined the lineup last year, is offered on the minivan again for 2016. Featuring door sill protectors, mud guards, all-weather floor mats and bundling roof rack cross bars, the package is option for drivers who are always on the go. In addition to the return of the Outdoor Package, the 2016 Toyota Sienna in Evansville sports new Entune audio systems that now come equipped with Siri Eyes Free mode, allowing iPhone owners to access Siri from a button on the car's steering wheel. The Entune Audio Plus system also gains Connected Navigation Scout GPS Link, which feeds navigation through the head unit using a driver's smartphone.
