Toyota Electric Vehicle Models

Toyota is one of the first automakers in the world to realize the vitality of an electric vehicle. There's more than one way to provide energy and life to your automobile, and Toyota is one of the first team of engineers who capitalized on the idea of electric technology. Their first lineups were of hybrid vehicles that used both gas and electric powertrains. Now the brand brings to life a whole new generation of all-electric models. No gas required.

The 2022 Mirai is a sedan that runs via Toyota's fuel cell technology. It has a "low, long and wide stance" with a premium interior and exterior for pure excitement. It comes in dazzling colors like Hydro Blue, Supersonic Red, and Oxygen White (more available) and features a grille that will knock the competition out of your radar. This is the only electric model you'll have eyes for. A criss-cross front grille look combines a body-color polish in the front that you won't mistake for any other vehicle.

You can choose from an XLE or Limited trim this year and get amazing features like Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, and 14-speaker JBL audio system. Where the real sizzle lurks is in the fuel cell powertrain of the model. The single speed gearbox and 182 horsepower technology is combined with 300 lb-ft of torque, so this is a model that can take off at will. You'll always feel the power at your fingertips when you charge up your Marai.

Toyota is also home to some of the world's first hybrid models, such as the Toyota Prius. Back when other automakers were scoffing at the idea of an electric vehicle, Toyota was showing that it could be done. Other popular Toyota models get a hybrid variant this year, including the Camry, Corolla, and Highlander. If you want something that gives you the freedom to go electric but doesn't completely do away with gas-powered vehicles, then just look to the Toyota brand. They are the King of Hybrid automakers and have been for a very long time.
